Is the Drone War destroying democracy at home?

Bill Moyers is unusual in that he is one of the few journalist who is willing to criticize the Drone War.  He recently asked the question whether the Drone War is destroying democracy at home.

There is something very disturbing and creepy about murdering civilians on the other side of the world with pilot-less aircraft.  Something fundamentally immoral and cowardly.

If the shoe was on the other foot and Pakistan was firing drones at neighbourhoods in the US there would a very different reaction in the US media to say the least.

The Drone War is clearly illegal under any legal system and is undermining the rule of law in the US as it continues into its second decade of murder and mayhem.

And to add insult to injury the Drone War has also failed in its objective, it creates more terrorists than it kills.  If this is the face of modern warfare then god help us all!
