Antigua Government Set to Launch “Pirate” Website

In Polytricks on January 28, 2013 at 8:29 am

Antigua has been subject to a US blockade of its online gambling industry.  They appealed to the WTO and have twice and have won their case but the USG refuses to comply.

So 2007 the WTO ruled that Antigua has the right to suspend U.S. copyrights up to $21 million annually.  Oops!!.. now Antigua is preparing to launch a website selling movies, music and software, without paying U.S. copyright holders.

This is a nightmare for the copyright police.  A nation state legally allowed to ignore US copyright law.  Allow me to have a good long laugh at the expense of the copyright police.. ha..ha.ha..ha..ha..

As the native peoples of the US found out the hard way, a treaty signed with the USG ain’t worth the paper its written on.. ha..ha.ha…
