Gaza, The World’s Largest Open-Air Prison

Noam Chomsky has published an article on how Gaza is the world’s largest open-air prison.  Its deeply shameful that the decades roll by and no resolution is ever found to the destruction of Palestine and its people.  I know that its politically incorrect to state the obvious, like Jimmy Carter has, that Zionism is  apartheid.  But nobody is going to tell me to remain silent in the face of outrageous inequity and violence.  In my opinion its not ‘anti-semitic’  to criticize Zionism.  In fact I feel that the more someone tries to bully and hector me into keeping my mouth shut the more I want to shout, “What about the Palestinians?, this cannot continue!”  Here is the trailer for the Norwegian documentary, “Tears of Gaza“.

Sixty four years of occupation.  No resolution.  Like the Tibetans their cause is largely forgotten.  Political expediency has taken the place of justice and humanity. If anyone has the temerity to try and break the illegal blockade they are beaten and their aid confiscated, or worse like Turkish Gaza Flotilla, they got butchered.   Collective punishment is the order of the day in Gaza.  When Rachel Corrie stood in front of a bulldozer illegally demolishing Palestinian homes in Gaza she was mowed down, crushed beneath the bulldozer.  No one was ever charged or sanctioned for her murder.   Here is Everlast singing his protest song about Palestine.
